Alterbeat is on a mission to enable millennials to embrace their passions. We’ve created a one-of-a-kind platform that provides easy access to opportunities in the arts, design, music, writing and other creative fields — opportunities that inspire millennials to work everyday.  Selected for Southeast Asia's largest accelerator program in Malaysia, we are working towards building Alterbeat's presence worldwide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can help accelerate our digital beat, as a part of our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the digital media landscape and of social media, in particular.
Role & Responsibilities
  1. Devise and execute the online content marketing strategy to build outreach and engage our community
  2. Manage  our social media handles and explore new platforms. You won’t just post and share - we expect you to develop creative content for posts to meet campaign objectives. 
  3. Analyze website and previous campaign data to formulate future campaigns
  4. Manage the Alterbeat newsletter
Prerequisites

  • Your writing style should be in-line with the Alterbeat brand personality and tone - we will give you room for individuality so show us what you can do!
  • Excercise your experience in digital marketing and implementing strategies 
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms—Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Has an eye for detail, i.e. appropriate and trending tags/hashtags, imagery, grammar & spelling
  • Must be proactive and have a strong desire to learn more!
  • Familiarity with MailChimp and/or Canva + any photo editing software of your choice is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite skills is a plus
