Background
Maker’s Asylum is a community MakerSpace based in Mumbai and Delhi, that allows collaborative ideation. It brings together interdisciplinary activities covering Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) to foster a culture of innovation, exploration and learning.
- For hardware entrepreneurs, it’s easy access to tools, technology and talent so they can prototype their ideas.
- For problem solvers, it’s a space to exchange ideas with other like and unlike-minded folks who share your passion.
- For hobbyists, it’s a place to explore, tinker and learn.
​- Don’t let those ideas die on the drawing board. Make your ideas happen!

The ‘Maker in Residence’ program is a residency program at Maker’s Asylum which gives you the chance to build your dreams in an environment designed to foster innovation and creative problem solving.
Help spread the love for making while building your portfolio as you acquire new skills and pass it on to the rest of their community. Explore collaborative ideation unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Benefits & Responsibilities
As part of the residency, you’ll be provided:
• Training on all the tools & equipment at the Asylum
• Unlimited access to production quality tools & equipment.
• A monthly stipend to help realise your vision.
• Access to a vibrant community of creative makers and doers.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Assist with daily operations at the Asylum
• Pass on your knowledge by training new members
• Assist the content team with generating content.
• Document your exploits and adventures.

• A proposal for something exciting you want to build.
• A past project that you’ve worked on.
