Background
Khel Khel Mein Foundation (KKMF) is a registered non-profit organization started in 2013. They focus upon, holistic development of children in under-resourced schools & communities through the medium of sports. The primary focus of KKMF is to ensure a structured platform for children to PLAY and then building upon the experience to nurture their physical, mental, emotional and social growth.

Roles & Responsibilities
We are inviting passionate and experienced sports enthusiast for this role. This role offers you with extensive opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the sports sector at the grassroots level. While working in the sports-education landscape you would also be exposed to the newest education and sports development models. This position will provide you a lot of scope to hone your technical, strategic planning, leadership and motivational skills. As a coach, you would have a constitutive role of building a strong sports culture and empowering children to seek purpose and joy in sports. The role shall test you broadly on your social and emotional strengths in different situations. In your role within the communities, you would be driving participation of children in the after-school sports program. Through the program, you will build sporting excellence and crucial life skills in the children. You will be working with children, parents and other stakeholders to transform the community via sports. Monitoring progress and evaluating implementation at regular intervals will be a critical part of your role.

Coaches will be expected to: 
  • Plan sessions effectively using multiple resources like age appropriate equipments, fitness aspects and multimedia tools
  • Timely plan sessions and document the sessions conducted in Coach journal, administer assessments, collect and submit the assessment data sheet
  • Technically and psychologically support children
  • Be present in weekly coach meeting & monthly training sessions
  • Train & prepare teams for state level matches & tournaments
  • Engage with parents and community stakeholders to facilitate their effective engagement and support towards the community sports project
  • Conduct assessments twice during the season

Prerequisites
  • Being a full-time role, coaches are expected to provide a minimum of 40 hours per week which includes training and planning hours
  • The candidate should have three or more years of relevant and strong experience in the field of sports and physical education training
  • The candidate should have in-depth understanding of technical and tactical aspects of Soccer/ Kho-Kho
  • Having sports participation at State/ National Level is recommended
  • Candidates with coaching licenses (AIFF D License) or degree in sports/Physical education will be preferred​

Salary will be based on experience
